As-Built vs. BIM Comparison
A difference between a site scan and a BIM model can reflect a construction deviation, a scanning error or an alignment problem. MeshGate combines spatial validation with model-to-BIM comparison to help teams investigate these differences.
The workflow checks whether the models share a suitable coordinate framework and whether the captured data supports the comparison. It then highlights differences between observed site geometry and the design.
The BIM model represents the intended design; it is not treated as proof of what has actually been built. A working comparison prototype is available for pilot testing with construction partners.
Compare captured site geometry with a BIM design model to identify visible deviations that need review.
